1. License and Use

You may not sublicense, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Product, or any part thereof, without the prior written consent of Provider.

1.3 Updates and Upgrades

Provider may release updates, upgrades, or new versions of the Product from time to time. Your continued use of the Product is subject to your acceptance of any such updates or upgrades.

2. Intellectual Property

2.1 Ownership

Provider retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Product, including all intellectual property rights. These Terms do not grant you any ownership or intellectual property rights in the Product.

2.2 Feedback

If you provide any feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Product, you grant Provider a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback into the Product.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 User Account

While Edge Light can be used without an account for basic features, purchasing a license may require you to provide contact information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and purchase information.

3.2 Compliance with Laws

You agree to use the Product in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.

3.3 Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Product to engage in any illegal, unauthorized, or harmful activities, including but not limited to transmitting malware, spamming, or infringing intellectual property rights.

4. Data Privacy

4.1 Data Collection and Usage

Provider may collect and use certain data and information in connection with your use of the Product. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

4.2 Local Processing

Edge Light runs locally in your browser. The Product does not record, track, or upload any of your video calls or camera feeds to external servers. All lighting effects are applied locally within your browser.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 No Warranty

The Product is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties or conditions, express or implied. Provider disclaims all warranties of any kind, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Product, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Payment and Licensing

6.1 Free Version

Edge Light offers a free version with basic features that can be used without any payment or registration.

6.2 Pro Version

The Pro version of Edge Light is available for a one-time payment. Upon successful payment, you will receive access to additional features.

6.3 Payment Processing

All payments are processed through Dodo Payments, our third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to Dodo Payments' terms and conditions.

6.4 Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for information about refunds and cancellations.

7. Termination

7.1 Termination by You

You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing to use the Product and uninstalling the browser extension from your devices.

7.2 Termination by Provider

Provider may suspend or terminate your access to the Product immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in any unauthorized or prohibited activities.

7.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Product will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

8. Browser Compatibility

Edge Light is designed to work with modern web browsers including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and other Chromium-based browsers. Provider does not guarantee compatibility with all browsers or browser versions.

9. Modifications to Terms

Provider reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting the revised Terms on our website or notifying you through the Product. Your continued use of the Product after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
